New York Shaken Baby Prevention Program -- Downstate Region
Serving Hudson Valley, New York City and Long Island


The New York Shaken Baby Prevention Program is a state-wide effort to educate all parents about shaken baby syndrome and how to prevent it.   Leadership for the program is by health professionals at two regional medical centers:

Kaleida Health Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at
Westchester Medicial Center
Serving 17 Upstate Counties Serving Hudson Valley, New York City and Long Island

The program is funded in part through the New York State William B. Hoyt Memorial Children Family Trust Fund, a program administered under the NYS Office of Children and Family Services.
